Fairmount Art Center

Located in the Art Museum Area, we are on 25th Street, one block north of Fairmount Avenue.  Getting here is easy, just turn north onto 25th from Eakins Oval, Kelly Drive, Pennsylvania Avenue, or Fairmount Avenue and we are just up on the NW corner. Parking in Fairmount

There is plenty of on-street parking near the Art Center. While the parking is unmetered, some streets do have a two or three hour limit. There is also a parking lot on Fairmount Avenue between 22nd and 23rd streets. Charges for parking are $3.00 per hour and $5.00 for the day.

Public Transportation to Fairmount

Bus Routes:

The #48 and the #7 both stop at the corners of 23rd & Aspen, 25th & Brown, & 23rd & Fairmount. The #48 travels down 21st to Market Street, turns around in Old City, and returns on Arch Street and back up 22nd. The #7 travels down 21st street to Market, makes a right to 23rd and goes to Oregon avenue in South Philadelphia and returns up 22nd Street. Click Here For Septa Bus Schedules.

Queen Village Art Center

Located just one block South of the vibrant South Street and around the corner from Philadelphia’s Fabric Row, we are between 5th and 6th Streets on Bainbridge Street. Getting here is easy, too! Just turn East onto Bainbridge Street from 6th Street and we are just up on the right side. Parking is convenient and we are on the bus route.Click here for map.

Parking in Queen Village

Metered, on-street parking is available near the Art Center. Most of the spots nearby have a 2-hour time limit. There is also a parking lot (Allright Parking) right across the street at 521 Bainbridge. The cost is $6.00 for up to 12 hours.

Public Transportation to Queen Village

Bus Routes:

The #40 stops at the corners of 6th & South and 5th & South. It runs east on South St., turns around at 2nd St. and runs west on Lombard St. all the way to the South Street bridge, and beyond.(Conshohocken Ave in West Park to Monument Rd. in Society Hill via Lombard and South Streets). The #47 stops at the corner of 7th & Fitzwater. It runs north on 7th St. to Olney, turns around at Godfrey Ave. and heads back south on 8th St. to Oregon Ave. (Olney to South Philadelphia via 7th and 8th Streets). Route map can be found here.

The #57 stops at the corner of 4th & Bainbridge. It runs south on 4th St. to Oregon Ave, turns around at Whitman Plaza and heads back north on 3rd St. through North Philadelphia. (South Philadelphia to Fern Rock Transportation Center via American, 3rd and 4th Streets). Route map can be found here.
